SupTronics X1205 2-Cell 21700 UPS for Raspberry Pi 5

The SupTronics X1205 is a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) add-on for Raspberry Pi 5, with support for two 21700 cells for up to 10,000mAh(batteries not included). It delivers5.1V 6A to power your Raspberry Pi and connected devices during power cuts, PSU failure or simply moving from one power supply to another, seamlessly switching over automatically to battery power when needed.

It monitors the Raspberry Pis status and shuts off power once the Pi is safely powered down, helping to extend standby life. Auto power-on is supported, so your Raspberry Pi can reboot when power returns. Safe shutdown from software is also available.

The board charges quickly at up to 3A. Power the board using a common barrel jack input (9V-18V) or the USB-C input (27W PSU recommended). An XH2.54-2P connector is also provided as a power input option, as well as 2x XH2.54-2P 5V power outputs.

The board mounts beneath the Pi, leaving the 40-pin GPIO free for other accessories such as HATs or coolers. Its compatible with top-mounted SupTronics storage add-ons for keeping data safe during unexpected power loss.

Safety Warning

Lithium Polymer (LiPo) and Li-ion batteries are volatile by nature. Failure to follow the safety instructions below may result in fire, personal injury, or property damage.

• Never connect the battery with incorrect polarity when charging or discharging. Always double-check that the battery connector’s “+” is connected to “+” and “” to “”.
• Do not mix old batteries with new ones, or use batteries from different brands together.
• Do not use 21700 batteries with built-in protection circuits
• Lithium batteries have a limited cycle life. Replace them when they reach the end of their service life, or after two years whichever comes first.
• When charging the battery pack, always place it in a fireproof container. Do not leave the UPS shield unattended on flammable surfaces such as wood or carpet.
• Keep the UPS add-on out of reach of children.
