General-Purpose Project Enclosure - 55x55x42mm

We now stock a new range of general-purpose project enclosures from Camdenboss, offering you a wide range of sizes and styles to fit your project.

This enclosure is the Camdenboss BIM2008/18which measures 55mm long, 55mm wide and 42mm high and comes without flanges. If you take a look at the product images, we’ve included a shot showing the Seeed XIAO RP2040 to give you a ‘real’ idea of the size of this project box.

The enclosure is made from high-gloss, high-impact ABS (UL94-HB) which is easy to cut, drill, machine and modify for your project. The enclosure is assembled usingfour included cross-head screwswhich drive into the plastic threaded lid, and has been designed to meet the requirements ofIP54.

The lid section also includes several integral mounting guides to accept 1.6mm PCBs – great for those of you making your own PCBs.

We also stock a flanged version of this enclosure.
