The Seeed Studio Modbus RS485 Vision AI Camera combines an ESP32-C3 controller with a Himax WiseEye2 HX6538 visual AI processor for edge inference in industrial and remote monitoring projects. It runs image recognition locally at 480 x 480 resolution and 10 FPS, then sends compact inference results instead of full image streams for more efficient and privacy-aware deployments.
With Modbus-RTU over RS485, optional Wi-Fi keyframe transmission, support for SenseCAP DTU workflows, IP66 protection and more than 300 SenseCraft AI models, this camera is built for object detection, people counting, meter reading, smart building and industrial manufacturing applications.
This product includes only the AI sensor. The S2100 data logger shown in the image needs to be purchased separately.
